I'm thinking of it either being a furry based story or human related. I would say furry as I could best draw that but humans would attract more people. So while I give the description I'll just say "man" but It's unidentified as furry or human yet.
I've started to come up with a movie idea (that couldn't happen) but I figured I could do in literature. The prologue (or if it was a trailer), would be an older man in his 20s walking through the rain with cuts and bruises on his face. A young boy breaks the silence as he offers his umbrella to the man which surprises him at first. The man asks if his parents have ever told him not to talk to strangers. The boy says they have but they also told him to be generous and help people. This surprises the man as he takes the offer and walks with the boy while holding the umbrella for both of them.
Sound nice?
So I would like the older male to be a gay man who get's bullied and attacked for being a homosexual. This leads him to become lonely but the little boy befriends him trying to bring some light into his life.
It would be a heart warming tale but of course it would have a huge plot twist with something involving the boy that I really don't want to give away.
So what do you guys think? I'm not the best writer as I have issues with punctuation but I'm sure people would be willing to help me.
Also I'm trying to think of a title name. "Under the Umbrella, Under Our Umbrella, Our Umbrella." Are pretty basic titles from what I've found so if anybody could help me I would really appreciate it.
But yeah, I would totally love feedback on the plot, title, and should it be a furry or human based story.

I have a job now and a huge crush on my beautiful coworker
But I'm struggling mentally. I started to see a therapist again but my family will not support me in majority of financial situations. I'm trying to look into online schooling so I can graduate early and get a second job and also working for my grandmother because I need to get a new car since mine is on it's last leg and back in the shop. Also need to pay my doctor bills and get government housing
But got out of the hospital recently, doctor gave me some anxiety tranq

I'm at a friend's house right now
Idk when this will be over but I'm just letting life slide by right now. Whether this will be done when I'm 18 or whatever, idk.
This (Like I've said) has basically been over LGBT stuff and religion. Mom not liking me being gay and feeling I'm talking to strangers on here who are "pulling me into the gay side."
My depression has acted up lately and especially anxiety making me have troubles sleeping at night and fear of school.
Please don't forget me and I'm wanting to continue Kurt's adventures and same stones.

The issue is that everyone can not trust me apparently and fights with the family. For the time being my computer and phone is being monitored by the IP address and what not
I still need to get onto some sites and they made me give them my passwords but I didn't tell about da for multiple reasons
I also had a fight with my mom over my sexuality. I was told I would go to hell, gay Christians were basically not a thing, she did not have a gay daughter, etc.
Only reason I'm here is I need to access a few stuff an I had an old iPad I allowed,y school to borrow for AV tech. It's still mine so my teacher allows me to take and use it so I use the
